Call Transfer
Call transferring can be done with one touch to make routing calls easy and efficient. You can transfer to:
- Another extension
- Another extension’s voicemail
- An outside number
- Back to the auto-attendant
Call Parking
Parking a call allows others to pick up that call when they are ready, rather than transferring directly to their line. Parked callers will hear your pre=recorded hold music.
Caller ID
View inbound caller’s name and phone number (when available).
Outbound Caller ID
Using the administrator level of Virtual Office you can assign names to different extensions on your system.
Call Waiting
You can change the call waiting feature to be either on or off. If on, your phone will beep to allow you to place your current call on hold and take the second call. If you ignore this call it will either be sent to voicemail or forwarded to another number, whichever you have defined in your administrator settings. Our call waiting also allows you to see the caller ID information for all incoming calls, so you can more accurately determine whether you take the call or not.
Do Not Disturb
Put your telephone in a state where it will not ring and calls will be forwarded to voicemail (or a busy signal if voicemail is turned off).
Call Forwarding w/ Selective Rules
Call forwarding eliminates the needs for human monitoring and allows you to pre-determine what happens to calls when you are busy on the phone or unable to answer such as:
- Forward to voicemail
- Forward to another extension
- Forward to another number (such as your cellphone)
